Bookies favour Burial for Mercury

Burial remains the bookmakers' favourite to win the Nationwide Mercury Music Prize tonight.

The London-based dubstep artist is one of 12 acts nominated for the gong, including Elbow, Radiohead, Laura Marling and The Last Shadow Puppets.

The award will be presented in London, with the winner selected on musical calibre rather than chart placing.

Burial only revealed his real name to be Will Bevan last month, having previously released his music anonymously.
