The hip-hop artist, who co-stars in upcoming police drama Righteous Kill, told ITN that he recently spent time with Eminem and was impressed with the tracks he heard.
He said: "I had an opportunity to sit with him two and a half weeks ago. I stayed at his house for the weekend and his project is coming together.
"[People] won't be excited until they hear the first single then they're gonna go back to loving him all over again. He's in a real great space creatively."
50 Cent was discovered by Eminem in 2002 and promptly signed to Interscope Records.
