Spiteri tells fans to "shut up" at gig

Singer Sharleen Spiteri ordered fans chatting at a private concert in London to be quiet, reports say.

A member of the audience said the former Texas star was so annoyed that she looked like she would walk off stage.

The fan told The Sun: "The tone of the evening was set when guests were warned prior to the gig to have their mobile phones switched off otherwise Sharleen was going to hunt them down and give them a Glaswegian kiss.

"I really thought she was going to flip out at one point. She singled out some fans for chatting and told them to be quiet. She seemed upset that some people wanted to drink and talk rather than watch her.

"I'm sure she ended up cutting the gig short as she was so annoyed."

Spiteri recently revealed that she threatened to "kick the s**t" out of Paris Hilton after she danced on some of her friends's coats in a nightclub.
