Van Morrison bans booze at gigs

The 'Brown-Eyed Girl' musician is teetotal, but his spokesman insisted that the decision has nothing to do with his personal life.
The ban was reportedly put in place because the 63-year-old finds it distracting when people visit the bar while he is playing.
One fan complained about the move and suggested that Van Morrison should lighten up.
"I know he's got a grumpy reputation but I didn't realise he wants to take the fun out of going to his own gigs," said chef Harry Fisher.
