Speaking to NME, Haggis said that he hoped the TV presenters would record the spoken-word intro to charity single 'Is It Christmas?'.
He said: "They're two of Liverpool's biggest celebrities. It'd be cool to get them on it."
The charity single is likely to be preceded by the release of 'My Circuit Board City', a song Haggis said is "about coming off tour, going back home and getting used to normal life. Touring life is so far from reality".
