The Wombats drummer Dan Haggis has revealed that the Liverpool band are hoping to secure the services of Les Dennis and Paul O'Grady for their upcoming single.

Speaking to NME, Haggis said that he hoped the TV presenters would record the spoken-word intro to charity single 'Is It Christmas?'.

He said: "They're two of Liverpool's biggest celebrities. It'd be cool to get them on it."

The charity single is likely to be preceded by the release of 'My Circuit Board City', a song Haggis said is "about coming off tour, going back home and getting used to normal life. Touring life is so far from reality".
