Miley Cyrus to headline BBC Switch Live

Miley Cyrus and Fall Out Boy will headline the first ever BBC Switch Live.

The teen-orientated lineup also includes Ne-Yo, McFly, Basshunter, N-Dubz and George Sampson.

Cyrus said: "I can't wait to get back to London and perform some of my very own tracks at the Switch gig in Hammersmith. London is one of my favourite cities and my friend Pete Wentz will be here so we're gonna have a lot of fun."

Radio 1's Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw, Greg James, Fearne Cotton, Kelly Osbourne and BBC Switch's Tom Deacon will host the event, taking place at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday, October 12.

Backstage interviews and performances will be broadcast on Switch on the night, with highlights available from the following Saturday on BBC Two's music TV show Sound.
