Kings Of Leon are heartbroken that they are not bigger in America, their frontman has claimed.

According to Caleb Followill, the band are popular all over the world except in their home country.

He added that Kings Of Leon have sold some 1.5 million albums in the UK, compared to around 750,000 in the US. Their new single 'Sex On Fire' has been at number one in the UK charts for the last two weeks.

Followill told Rolling Stone: "I'm sick of being big everywhere else... For America to kind of turn its back on us is heartbreaking."

The singer recently commented that people who illegally download music lack respect for the artists involved.
