The record, which was scheduled to go head-to-head with 50 Cent's new LP Before I Self Destruct in December, will now hit stores in November.
West wrote in a blog post: "I changed [the release date] to November something because I finished the album and felt like it. I want y'all to hear it as soon as possible."
The hip-hop star's new single 'Love Lockdown', released in the UK this week, recently entered the US Billboard chart at number three.
Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis recently revealed that West approached her in an airport departure lounge and played her two tracks from his upcoming record.
