Stellmach, who says that she "acquired" the musician's remains, will make a spliff with the ashes to "set free" Cobain from the media circus.
It will take place at Berlin's Wagner & Partner gallery as part of the Set Me Free exhibition on October 11.
Courtney Love revealed in May that her late husband's ashes had been stolen during a burglary.
Speaking about how she found them, Stellmach told Artworld: "That's confidential and kind of magic. They came to me. And I am setting him free."
