Noel Gallagher has claimed that he did not know Oasis's new album was being streamed on MySpace.
Dig Out Your Soul was previewed on the social networking site earlier today. It is released in physical format on October 6.
The guitarist said the first he knew about the LP sampler was when he read about it in his morning newspaper.
"I don't have any opinion on that sort of thing," he told BBC 6 Music. "I don't get involved. I've done a little bit for the website in the past.
"Are people streaming it on MySpace? Good luck to them."
He continued: "Somebody texted me today with it all and a load of jargon that I don't understand and I was going, 'Yes, I don't know what that means... but yes'."
