The soul star is to make an appearance as Anne of Cleves in The Tudors alongside Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
However, while she would love to take on more acting roles, she insisted that making music is her priority.
"I'm not really an actress yet. At the end of the day I would love to go into acting and I am - but my first love is music," she said.
