The US record producer, who has crafted hits for Madonna and Justin Timberlake, expressed an interest in working with the pop trio, but the girls were unable to find space in their diaries.
"He approached us while we were making our last album, but we'd literally just finished it and we had no time left," group member Amelle Berrabah told DS.
"I know he wanted to work with us on this album too, but again we had so little time so it just didn't work out because of timings and diaries."
However, Berrabah insisted the group are still hoping to work with the highly-rated producer. "Maybe next year we'll make it happen. I'd absolutely love to work with him," she said.
