Leon Jackson has insisted that he does not compare himself to fellow X Factor champion Leona Lewis.
Jackson described Lewis as a "real inspiration", and credited her with "shaking the stigma" attached to reality show winners, but claimed he is "totally different" to the 'Bleeding Love' singer.
"I don't compare myself to Leona because we're totally different people," he told DS. "We're totally different artists and we've got totally different backgrounds."
"She's been singing most of her life whereas I've only been singing for a short time," he added.
Jackson will release his debut album, Right Now, on October 20.
