Fall Out Boy album delay down to election

The record was due to be released in the US on November 4, the same day as the election, as some of the songs were "relevant to the candidates".
Writing on their official website, the group confirmed that the album has been pushed back to December 16.
The statement said: "This is not the election to be cute. This is the most important election of our time.
"We felt as though rather than making a commentary we were only riding the wave of the election. This seemed less and less like what we intended to do and more of a gimmick."
