Leona Lewis has taken home the People's Choice prize at the inaugural UK Music Video Awards.

Her 'Bleeding Love' video beat off stiff competition from Duffy's 'Mercy' and Adele's 'Chasing Pavements' to win the gong, which was voted for by listeners of London radio station Capital FM.

Bjork's seven-minute 'Wanderlust' video won three awards, including the prestigious Video Of The Year trophy.

Other winners at last night's UK Music Video Awards, which took place at the Odeon West End in London's Leicester Square, included Kate Nash, Supergrass and dance duo Utah Saints.
