Cell phone nearly halts Prince concert

The 'Purple Rain' star was performing at the Gansevoort Hotel rooftop when fans were asked to turn off their mobiles due to the technical hitch.
Fans were reportedly told: "There may not be a show."
Dave Chappelle, Spike Lee, Anderson Cooper, Howard Stern and Dennis Rodman were all in the audience at the event, which eventually went ahead.
The singer recently revealed that he is to dump his raunchy dance routines and lyrics so as not to upset his fans.
