During a press conference at Wembley Stadium, Noel Gallagher revealed a string of super-gigs that will take place in June and July.
The jaunt includes shows at Manchester Heaton Park, Sunderland's Stadium Of Light, Cardiff Millennium Stadium, Edinburgh Murrayfield, Wembley and a previously-announced gig at Dublin's Slane Castle.
Kasabian and The Enemy will be the support acts. Tickets go on sale at 10am on October 24.
"Looking at the bill, I think these are going to be the gigs of next year, if not the decade, for a certain demographic," said Gallagher.
"I'm just glad I can get tickets. These are the gigs that people remember, they meet future wives. I give thanks that we're headlining it and not some heritage act on before a bunch of kids."
