Coldplay 'to play Knebworth in 2009'

The singer told Radio 1: "We're trying to book a place that rhymes with Blebworth. We realised there's a lot of people who don't like us in Britain but, you know, they don't have to come."
Oasis performed two concerts at Knebworth in 1996, while Robbie Williams played three successive shows in 2003.
"We're not gonna do three [nights], Robbie did three," said Martin. "We'd be happy with one. Then the next day can be some kind of caravan conference."
Coldplay release new EP Prospekts March on November 24. They are also rumoured to be releasing a new album in 2009.
