Researchers discovered that the song contains 103 beats per minute, just over the recommended 100 chest compressions per minute recommended should someone go into cardiac arrest.
If performed properly, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) could triple cardiac survival rates, reports the BBC.
Doctors and students averaged 113 beats per minute when they were asked to think of the song and perform CPR on mannequins as part of the study. Though this is more compressions than recommended by the American Heart Association, one of the main researchers said it is better than too few.
