The popstar claimed he was a huge fan of The X Factor winner and said she was one of several musicians he was hoping to collaborate with in the future.
He told MTV: "I'm going to go pimp myself to Leona Lewis, 'cause I think she's an amazing singer.
"I've been working with different people here or there. You'll hear it when it comes out. I would love to give you everyone but there's some stuff that might not work out due to business stuff, unfortunately."
Timberlake's last album FutureSex/LoveSounds was released in 2006.
