Oasis add dates as gigs sell out

Oasis have announced extra dates for their UK and Ireland 'supergig' tour next year, despite tickets only going on sale yesterday morning.

Extra shows will take place at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 4 and at Wembley Stadium on July 9 after previously-announced dates at the two venues sold out within hours.

Tickets are now on sale for the extra gigs, as are those for dates outside of Manchester and London. The 'supergig' tour will also take in Sunderland, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Oasis confirmed the tour in October, with Noel Gallagher claiming: "Looking at the bill, I think these are going to be the gigs of next year, if not the decade, for a certain demographic."
