Speaking to the Daily Star, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts said: "Ne-Yo is an artist we love and we would work with him at the drop of a hat.
"The songs he's written for Rihanna and Leona Lewis are amazing and his lyrics really touch us."
When asked what music they were listening to at the moment, the pair commented: "Lately we've been rediscovering '90s club classics like Snap's 'Rhythm Is A Dancer' and UK garage anthems by artists like Craig David.
"Whatever happened to that scene? It rocked."
Girls Aloud scored the fourth number one of their career on Sunday with 'The Promise'.
