Led Zeppelin are looking to tour without the band's frontman Robert Plant.

Bassist John Paul Jones told the BBC they are "trying out a couple of singers" to replace Plant, who has ruled himself out.

Guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer Jason Bonham apparently want to join Jones back on the road.

"We want to do it. It's sounding great and we want to get on and get out there," Jones said. "There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be on board."

Aerosmith's Steve Tyler is the latest star linked to be joining the band on vocals.

The last time Zeppelin performed together was at the O2 arena in London last December.
