Queen have announced plans to re-release all their studio albums on vinyl.

Over the next two years, the 1980s rock act's entire back catalogue will be available on the format for the first time.

The repackaged LPs will feature original details and bonus posters and pictures.

According to NME, the records, which include A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races, Flash Gordon and 2008's Cosmos Rocks, will be released in two waves.

Meanwhile, the band's new concert film Queen & Paul Rodgers: Let The Cosmos Rock has been granted a cinema release. The gig, which took place in the Ukraine to an audience of 350,000, will be shown at 425 cinemas in America on November 6.
