The collective, which was announced in May, features former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson, Babyshambles's Drew McConnell, Reverend And The Makers's Jon McClure and Joe Moskow, and rapper Lowkey.
The band will play at the Boston Arms in Tufnell Park, London on November 5.
Mongrel released their first songs in July through their MySpace page, describing themselves as "a coalition of the willing".
