McFadden: Westlife fans were 'nuts'

The singer left the boyband in 2004 after six years and has since attempted to forge out a solo career. Now he claims to have a more sedate following than in his time with the group.
"Back in the Westlife days I might have thought: 'Not you again'. The fans did get a bit much, but they were very young, of course," he said.
"It's not like that now because a lot of my fans are in their 20s or my age, but yes, back in the Westlife days it was like: 'Oh my God, here they come again - they're nuts!'"
