Flowers clears up 'Human' confusion

The track features the chorus line "are we human, or are we dancer?", leading confused fans to speculate that Flowers is singing the word "denser".
"Denser? I hadn't heard that one. I don't like denser," he told MTV.
"[The lyric is] taken from a quote by [author Hunter S.] Thompson: 'We're raising a generation of dancers.' I took it and ran. I guess it bothers people that it's not grammatically correct, but I think I'm allowed to do whatever I want."
New Killers album Day And Age is released on November 24.
