Bassist Richard Jones said that a streaker at one of their Cardiff Christmas shows several years ago was actually Feeder's drummer Mark Richardson.
"We always play pranks on each other," Jones told The Sun. "We once dared him to go up to Renée Zellweger totally naked and say, 'Show me the money' like Tom Cruise did in Jerry Maguire."
Frontman Kelly Jones added: "Fair play to him. He did it. They play pranks on us and we do it with them all the time.
"Our chefs have also streaked across the stage wearing just their chef hats. That's why we don't eat any of their food."
Stereophonics release their Best Of album Decade In The Sun on November 10.
