Timberlake said last month that he was hoping to work with The X Factor winner on his next album.
Recalling her reaction to his comments, Lewis told DS: "I'm like, 'How do you even know who I am, dude?'
"He wants to work with me on some songs, which is cool with me... He's Justin Timberlake!"
She added: "I met him and sang with him at one of his shows. He did his whole album and I did a few songs. It was great. He's so down-to-earth. It's lovely!"
