The band will be crowned "Godlike Geniuses" by the music magazine on February 25, then perform at London's O2 Arena the following night.
The Cure gained cult status after rising to fame during Britain's late '70s punk scene. "When The Cure play now we often play up to three hours and we play pretty much everything," said lead singer Robert Smith. "We'll do the same kind of thing, we'll reflect what we've done over the years."
