The singer, real name Alecia Moore, wrote the song in 2006 out of frustration for current US President George W. Bush and his Republican policies.
At a performance in London on the night of the US election, Pink declared her intention to sing the 'battle cry' for the final time. She told the crowd: "It's Election Day. Oh God, I'm very, very nervous... We're going to win and this is the last time that I will be performing 'Dear Mr President'.
"The next President is going to be an ass-kicker. The whole world is gonna change or else this will become a really f**ked up song."
'Dear Mr President', which features on Pink's I'm Not Dead album, includes the lyrics: "What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street? Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep? Are you proud?"
Pink scored her first UK number one album earlier this month with Funhouse.
