Britney Spears has won two prizes at the 15th MTV Europe Music Awards.
The singer collected the Album Of The Year gong for Blackout and beat off stiff competition from Coldplay and Amy Winehouse to be named Act Of 2008.
Spears, who also won three prizes at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, was unable to collect her trophies in person, but sent a pair of video messages thanking her fans.
Katy Perry, who hosted the event, took home the New Act trophy, while Pink won the Most Addictive Track award for 'So What'.
Leona Lewis was named Best UK & Irish Act, beating Adele, Duffy, Ting Tings and The Wombats.
Meanwhile, Rick Astley pulled off a shock victory in the Best Act Ever category, pipping Spears, U2 and Christina Aguilera to the accolade.
Kanye West scooped the Ultimate Urban gong, while Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars won the Rock Out prize.
Performers at the event, which was held tonight at Liverpool's Echo Arena, included Pink, Beyoncé and Kanye West.
