The group played a fundraiser gig at Fox's annual 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson's' event on Wednesday.
Fox, who was diagnosed with the degenerative disease in 1991, voiced his approval for President-elect Barack Obama, telling those in attendance at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers: "Let's Barack to the future!"
As The Who closed their 12-song set, Fox joined Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend on stage to play guitar on 'Magic Bus'.
"This is almost worth getting Parkinson's for!" he said.
Scarlett Johansson, Ben Stiller and director Martin Scorsese were also guests at the event.
