The Hannah Montana star said the constant press coverage she receives was the inspiration behind her new song.
"'Fly On The Wall' is about the media. It's about how they think they know everything about me, when they don't. They want to be a fly on my wall and watch me 24/7," Cyrus said.
The single's lyrics include the line: "Don't you wish that you could be a fly on the wall, a creepy little, sneaky little fly on the wall. All my precious secrets, you'd know them all."
Cyrus's latest album Breakout was released in September.
