Selena Gomez's forthcoming debut album will not include any break-up tracks after the singer apparently vowed to keep her music and men separate.

The 16-year-old's pop rivals Katy Perry and Taylor Swift admit much of their material is inspired by their exes, but Gomez wants to keep her private life to herself, reports WENN.

She said: "I get so mad at ex-boyfriends, but if a boy hurts me, I don't write a song about it. They don't deserve me."

The Wizards Of Waverly Place actress, who is also a spokesperson for children's charity UNICEF, was recently linked to Nick Jonas. Her debut LP is tentatively set for release next summer.
