Barker back in studio after crash

Travis Barker is back in the studio less than two months after surviving a plane crash which killed four people.

The former Blink 182 drummer sustained second and third degree burns in the September 19 incident and was only recently released from hospital.

Speaking on the final broadcast of MTV's Total Request Live, he said: "I'm back playing my drums again and I'm already back in the studio.

"It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know I still have my chops. It still felt good. I still can make it around the kit. Everything felt right, so I'm thankful to be able to play."

Fellow musician DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, also sustained injuries in the South Carolina crash. He too is back at work and recently joined rapper Jay-Z on stage in his first appearance following the tragedy.
