'Q' names Top 50 albums of the year

The music publication crowned Kings Of Leon's Only The Night as 2008's best album.
The record shot straight to the top of the charts when it was released in October and spawned number one singles 'Sex On Fire' and 'Use Somebody'.
The magazine said the legendary countdown includes "luxurious beards, quiffs and a chap in a pearl necklace".
The Top 10 best albums of the year are:
1. Kings of Leon: Only The Night
2. Fleet Foxes: Fleet Foxes
3. Coldplay: Viva La Vida
4. Vampire Weekend: Vampire Weekend
5. Glasvegas: Glasvegas
6. Duffy: Rockferry
7. TV On The Radio: Dear Science
8. Elbow: The Seldom Seen Kid
9. The Raconteurs: Consolers of The Lonely
10. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds: Dig!!! Lazarus, Dig!!!
Other albums recognised included Adele's debut 19 at number 17, Goldfrapp's Seventh Tree at 19 and The Killers' Day And Age at 22.
