The band were shocked when a town centre had to close because of the demand for their live concert in the country.
"We did a gig in Macedonia a couple of months ago," Heidi Range told the Metro. "They closed down the town centre, the mayor was there and thousands of people turned up.
"I didn’t even realise they’d heard of us, so to have that sort of reaction was brilliant."
However, the group were less well received when they performed a gig in Moscow. "It was in a huge theatre but there were only 20 people in the audience and they didn’t seem to know who we were," said Range.
Sugababes release new single 'No Can Do' on December 22.
