Doherty to reform Libertines?
Published Sunday, Nov 30 2008, 16:16 GMT | By Michael Thornton

The singer is said to be trying to persuade former bandmate Carl Barat to reform the group, who split in 2004.
He reportedly attended a recent gig by Barat's new band Dirty Pretty Things in Paris in order to discuss working together again.
However, a source told The Mirror that Barat will need assurances that Doherty is serious about the reunion, saying: "Carl thinks it might work, but he needs to be 100% sure Pete won't let him down again before he signs up."
Doherty is currently recording a new solo album and recently worked on a track with reclusive former La's frontman Lee Mavers.
