New submissions to the Grammy Hall Of Fame have been announced by The Recording Academy.

The 28 classic tracks include Queen's 1977 double A-sided single 'We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You', Stevie Wonder's 'For Once In My Life', and 'Synchronicity' by The Police.

New songs for The Hall Of Fame, which was created in 1973 and now includes a collection of 826 tracks, are chosen annually by a special committee.

Jimi Hendrix's version of 'The Star Spangled Banner' and the soundtrack to the movie The Good, The Bad And The Ugly have also joined the list, as have 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynyrd Skynyrd and 'I Wanna Be Loved By You' by Helen Kane.

The Hall Of Fame will be a featured part of the Grammy Museum, which opens in LA on December 6.
