The Specials confirm reunion tour

Legendary Ska group The Specials have reunited and will tour the country in Spring 2009.

Rumours of a reunion began following an appearance at this summer's Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

The band's hits include 'Ghost Town', 'Too Much Too Young' and 'A Message To You, Rudy'.

The Specials' tour dates in full are:

• April 22 - Newcastle Academy


• April 23 - Sheffield Academy


• April 25 & 26 - Birmingham Academy


• April 28 - Glasgow Academy


• May 3 - Manchester Apollo


• May 6 & 7 - London Brixton Academy

Tickets for the gigs are available from 9am on December 11.
