The singer admitted that she was feeling so anxious about her forthcoming live dates that she snapped up the tickets.
"I'm quite terrified that nobody is going to buy tickets so can everyone please go and buy some? I bought six of my own!" she told Absolute Radio.
The star also joked that her record label purchased tickets for a recent warm-up gig, saying: "Yeah that was good, I think my record company probably bought half of them!"
Allen recently announced details of a nine-date tour in 2009, which kicks off in Glasgow on March 14.
