Pregnant M.I.A to miss Grammy Awards?

M.I.A has revealed that she may have to miss the Grammy Awards because her baby is expected on the same day.

The singer admitted that it is unlikely that she would be able to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles on February 8.

The UK hip-hop star's 'Paper Planes' is nominated for the Record Of The Year gong at the prestigious awards.

Writing on her MySpace blog, she said: "Baby + Grammy... is due on the same day!

"Either way I figure [I] win," she wrote. "But OMG if I get it, I will never diss the Grammys ever again!"

M.I.A announced that she was expecting a baby with her fiancé Benjamin Brewer in October.
