Enrique: 'My fans are all OAPs'

Enrique Iglesias has claimed that his fanbase is largely comprised of old women.

Speaking to Metro about his "typical fan", the Spanish singer said: "My target audience is females between the ages of 70 and 85."

The 33-year-old added that he receives underwear from them "once in a while", although they "usually like to give me their knickers in person".

Iglesias added that one female fan showed extreme dedication by hiding under a table in his dressing room for ten hours.

"She got in there before the soundcheck and didn’t come out until after the gig," he recalled. "She’d been there all day and was quite scared."
