Pearl Jam gives 'Ten' deluxe reissue
Each of the new editions will feature a digitally-remastered version of the album, which can be bought separately. The songs will also be available remixed by producer Brendan O'Brien, with six previously unreleased tracks.
O'Brien, who worked with the group on the four albums which followed Ten, told Billboard that he was reluctant at first to "mess around" with the record, saying: "After years of persistent nudging from the band, I was able to wrap my head around the idea of offering it as a companion piece to the original, giving a fresh take on it, a more direct sound."
Also on offer to fans will be the 'Legacy' reissue, which comes with rare a DVD of the group's 1992 performance on MTV Unplugged, and a double-vinyl release featuring the remastered album and the O'Brien remixes.
Pearl Jam will additionally put a 'Super Deluxe Edition' on sale, comprising both new versions of Ten, the DVD and four vinyl discs of concert recordings. The pack will come in a linen-covered, slip-cased clam box and a replica of frontman Eddie Vedder's composition notebook.
The reissues, in shops from March 24, will be presented with revamped artwork from bassist Jeff Ament and designer Andy Fischer.
