The record is the follow-up to 2004 effort How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb and is the 12th studio album from the Irish band. It will be released in the US a day later.
Production credits are shared between long time collaborators Brian Eno and Danny Lanois, with additional work from Steve Lillywhite.
The band have recorded the disc across four global locations. Beginning last year in Fez, Morocco, they moved to their own studio in Dublin, before heading to New York and then applying the finishing touches in London.
