The singer has revealed that she "dragged" Thomas onto the shoot for the band's single.
"Heidi and Amelle had already taken the best ideas for the video, so I called my boyfriend and said, 'Hey Babe, can you please come and do our video'," she told DS.
"He said that there was no way he was going to go onto a pop video and dance like that. Especially with his girlfriend. He thought everyone would think it looked really naff."
The star added that she had to resort to threats in order to persuade him to take part.
"I asked him whether he'd do it if he could just sit there, and he still refused, so I threatened to put my leg over another guy and he agreed to come," she admitted. "He was kind of forced into it!"
Buchanan revealed that she didn't even try to convince Thomas to appear in video to new single 'No Can Do' because it features half-naked male models.
"I don't think he would like it, he is a bit of a lad.
"He likes football and the guys there were more like models. He's not really that type of guy."
The band release their new single 'No Can Do' on December 29.
