Girls Aloud are reportedly taking a two-month break after the success of their number one album Out Of Control.

The group are preparing to have an extended holiday when promotional work for their new single 'The Loving Kind' is completed.

Band member Nicola Roberts has revealed that she will use the opportunity to work on her make-up range.

"I’m going to go and have lessons with a chemist, go to a beauty school," she told the Daily Star.

"I don’t just want to be one of those people who just adds a name to a product."

The band will embark on a UK tour in May 2009 before supporting Coldplay at Wembley Stadium in September.
