The I'm A Celebrity... contestant claimed that he will be moving away from R&B on his third studio album.
"I'm into rock guitars now," he told the Daily Star. "The British invented rock music and I would love people to reference my music.
"One new track called 'Unforgiving' is a heavy rock-guitar head-banger. People have said: 'That can't be Simon from Blue. I would never buy his music but this record is absolutely amazing.'"
Webbe, who is currently learning guitar, is planning to release the new songs on his own label.
"I hope the music industry and fans feel the same [as me]," he said. "If they do then I think you will see a lot of me next year."
The popstar's last studio album was 2006's Grace. His debut record Sanctuary included top ten singles 'Lay Your Hands' and 'No Worries'.
