Madonna, Dion top worldwide tours in 2008

The singers also topped the list of the highest grossing tours in North America, according to trade publication Pollstar.
Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour reportedly grossed $281.6 million (£194.8 million) worldwide, of which $105.3 million (£72.8 million) was from North American ticket sales.
Dion's first world tour in over eight years grossed $236.6 million (£163.6 million) worldwide, with North Americans contributing $94 million (£65 million).
The figures do not include revenue made up from merchandise.
The full list of Pollstar's biggest worldwide concert draws is as follows:
1. Madonna (£194.8 million)
2. Celine Dion (£163.3 million)
3. Bon Jovi (£121.9 million)
4. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (£114.7 million)
5. The Police (£83.4 million)
